I've been spending a lot of time on Flawn Ocho in the last few weeks as I've seen a nice little increase in sales and I hope to run with it ...
I've been organizing the home page for a while now and often I get so overwhelmed with it that I put it on the back burner... However I've made myself trudge through and do some organizing, from which I'm already starting to see the fruits of...
Feel free to go on over to Flawn Ocho and explore...
Though I'm late hitting you with it... (You know, I was going to schedule everything out in advance and have posts about bikes and biking also firing off in KCoJax and Nucleus of my Noggin, as well as "songs about biking" in the Ochorific Song o the Day, but you know how it goes...) Anywho - I DID start working with a lot of my biking images in the last few weeks in anticipation of National Bike Month...
National Bike Month began in 1956 in an effort to promote the benefits of bicycling and ENCOURAGE folks to spend more time pedaling than putting... I'm going to check the list to see if we have any events in our Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky neck
of the woods, but perhaps a few of us should plan a big cruise several times this month ... or if we're feeling especially ambitious - register for the National Bike Challenge...
One of my all time favorite photos is one of my beautiful and dearly missed blue bike, parked in Dorothy Miller Park at day's end with the Metropolis Bridge in the background...
After I sepia'd it I did a few simple items over in Flawn Ocho
... magnets and post cards ... but with the approach of National Bike Month I wanted to set up a section specifically for biking images and designs, and there were a few items
I told you all of that to tell you this... :) I've added some images below of some of the merchandise I'm most tickled
with the result of in Flawn Ocho and you're invited to go over and take a closer peek and even order some goodies for yourself or someone you know who loves biking...
Just think of it ... you've always wanted to be one of those people who were "ahead of the game" and had gifts in some magical closet when occasions arise... and you can do that now inFlawn Ocho's New Biking Section!
